World Intellectual Property Organisation provides the global services for the protection of Intellectual Property. At present WIPO has three protection systems under its control. We at Intellectual Property Logium provide services for the protection of intellectual property under these three International Protection Systems of WIPO.
WIPO Systems for International Protection:
Trademark:
WIPO International Trademark Protection system is called “Madrid – The International Trademark System”. The Madrid System is a system for registering and managing marks worldwide.
Through Madrid it is possible to register the trademark through one application in one language for up to 96 countries.
Patent:
The WIPO System for Patent protection is called PCT – The International Patent System. The Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) makes possible the patent protection internationally. By filing one international patent application under the PCT, applicants can simultaneously seek protection for an invention in more than 148 countries around the world.
Industrial Design:
The WIPO system for the protection of Industrial Design is called Hague – The International Design System. It is possible to register 100 designs in over 64 countries by one International Application through Hague System for the International Registration of Industrial Designs.
