An Office action is a letter from the patent examiner that requires a proper reply or response from the applicant with respect to the issues raised by the examiner. The applicant has to reply to each ground of rejection and objection made by the examiner.
The time to submit reply or response to Office actions is 6 months from the mailing date on the Office action, however, if the office action sets a period the response must be submitted within the prescribed period. If the applicant does not file response to an Office action within the time, the application will be held abandoned.
At Intellectual Property Logium we provide advisement on how to respond after looking into the office action. We will draft and file response to the office action you have received with respect to your patent.
